“Women leaders will change the world!”
With over 25 years of management experience, Carrie is the Chief Executive Officer of a non-profit organization that provides support, resources, educational opportunities and advocacy for small to large businesses. She is an organizational leadership strategist and a mentor, a “gregarious introvert”, a mother, a wife, a wine lover; Carrie writes about her leadership and management experiences from all aspects of her life.
She has spoken at conferences across Canada and the US and has appeared in many local newspapers, television and global publications. Carrie has an MA in Leadership from Royal Roads University and a PhD in Keeping It Real from the School of Life (well not really, but if there was such a thing, she’d be the first to accomplish it).
Carrie has been part of three award winning management teams, including “Social Profit of the Year” (twice, but who’s counting) as the Executive Director of a youth-serving organization.
