You’ve Got This!

I’m not sure about you, but life has been feeling overwhelming lately. We’re well into the third COVID wave here in Canada and that feeling of helplessness that has been creeping in for over a year has come to full fruition….and guess what? There is absolutely nothing wrong with feeling this way, especially right now! We are in a pandemic that just won’t stop and the unknown of each and every day is so heavy and completely exhausting! Even the strongest people reach their breaking points...they wouldn’t be human if they didn’t.

If you’re feeling the weight today, that’s okay. If you’re feeling “done” today, that’s okay. If you’re feeling angry/sad/mad, that’s okay...Feel all of it, every damn ounce! You deserve to feel it...we all do! While you’re feeling all the feels, I want you to also feel gratitude for everything and everyone who has kept you going this year:

  • The lessons that have come out of the challenges

  • The confidence that has kept you swimming.

  • Your “people’.

  • The knowledge you have gained.

  • Your health and resilience.

  • Last but not least, your commitment to being the strong, unstoppable force that can handle anything thrown your way....feel all of this too!!

The last year has sent challenges and lessons that not one of us ever could have imagined let alone still be living it over a year later!

Please don’t ever stop recognizing and feeling each and every feeling, but don’t keep them. Thank them for being part of your journey and release each and every one. Let it all go so you don’t have to wear their weight while you keep going! You need to have lots of energy, so empty the back pack before adding more.

You’ve already proven to yourself and the entire universe that you’ve got this!! You’ve already proven that you’re so much stronger then you ever knew! You’ve already got this...just keep holding onto it! There’s a light at the end of the tunnel and we’re going to be there standing in the sunshine together very soon!

Carrie XO
